Jazz Clarifies Newport Beach Land Plans

An article recently appeared in the Orange County Register regarding plans for Conexant Systems, Inc. to develop land in Newport Beach. Although these plans have not yet been determined, they will NOT affect the long-term future of Jazz or of our fabrication facility. Our lease on the building that houses the Fab lasts until 2017, and Jazz has the unilateral right at our sole discretion to further extend the lease on that building for an additional 10 years beyond that, to 2027 -- twenty years from now.
