JAZZ SEMICONDUCTOR, INC. FILES REGISTRATION STATEMENT FOR INITIAL
PUBLIC OFFERING

-- Jazz Semiconductor, Inc. announced today that it has filed a
registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission
for the proposed initial public offering of its common stock.
The underwriters of the offering will be Cowen & Company and
Needham & Company, LLC, acting as joint book-running managers,
and Wachovia Securities acting as co-manager. The offering will
be made only by means of a prospectus. When available, copies of
